Counseling

Threshold moments
Counseling is for moments when something in life no longer fits, when familiar ways of being, relating, or deciding start to feel tight, confusing, or exhausting. These moments are often thresholds: times of transition, loss, questioning, inner reorientation, or quiet knowing that a next step is asking to be taken, even if it is not yet clear what that step is. My counseling work offers a safe and attentive space to slow down, to listen more closely to what is happening within you, and to explore these questions without pressure to fix or resolve them too quickly.
A Relational and Non-Hierarchical Approach
I work in a relational and non-hierarchical way, grounded in the belief that each person carries their own intelligence and direction. Counseling with me is not about diagnosis, labels, or predefined trajectories, but about strengthening autonomy while staying connected — to yourself, to others, and to the wider context of your life. We look together at patterns, emotions, bodily signals, and stories that shape how you move through the world, always with respect for your pace and boundaries.
Inner and Outer Landscapes
Sometimes counseling stands on its own as a dedicated space for personal reflection and integration. At other times, it accompanies more practical or collective processes, such as working in the garden or engaging in community life. Inner and outer landscapes are not separate; what is lived internally often mirrors what is unfolding in relationships, work, or place. Counseling can therefore gently support moments of anxiety, overwhelm, identity questions, or decision-making, while remaining grounded in everyday life rather than abstract self-improvement.

For Whom This Work Is Suited
This work is especially suited for people who value depth without drama, clarity without simplification, and guidance without being told who to be. Counseling here is an invitation to come closer to yourself in an honest, embodied, and humane way — and to let that closeness inform how you live and relate in the world.
A Transparant Financial Exchange
In most cases eight counsel sessions are enough to help you further. Our first session is about getting to know each other, and see if there is a mutual basis of trust. The first session is for free. One session takes an hour. If we decide to cooperate, I ask for an exchange of:

-
€40–50 per hour
For people living in Portugal or with limited financial resources -
€60–70 per hour
Standard contribution -
€80–90
Solidarity rate — helps keep this work accessible to others
