Rooted in Change

Communities
Communities at a Threshold

I work with communities and groups at moments of transition: when growth brings tension, when old structures no longer serve, when conflicts surface, or when there is a shared sense that something needs to change but the way forward is not yet clear. These moments are thresholds in collective life, where questions of belonging, responsibility, leadership, and care come to the surface.
Community as a Living System
I approach communities as living systems rather than organizations to be managed. Each community has its own rhythm, history, and intelligence, shaped by the relationships between its members and by its wider social and ecological context. My work focuses on strengthening relational capacity — the ability to listen, to speak honestly, to hold differences, and to make decisions together without collapsing into fear or rigid roles.
Facilitation and Process Guidance
In practical terms, this work may involve facilitation of conversations, support in moments of conflict or transition, reflection on structures and roles, or guidance in decision-making processes. I work in a non-hierarchical way, attentive to group dynamics and unspoken layers, and with respect for the autonomy of the community itself. The aim is not to impose solutions, but to help a group access its own collective intelligence.
Holding Diversity and Difference
Many of the communities I have come to known are diverse in background, identity, age, or worldview. Difference can be a source of creativity, but also of tension. I support communities in staying present with diversity — including differences in power, communication styles, and life experience — without forcing consensus or suppressing discomfort. This creates space for more resilient and inclusive forms of cooperation.
From Crisis to Capacity

Community work often emerges from moments of difficulty, but it is not limited to crisis response. Threshold moments can also be used to build long-term capacity: clearer agreements, healthier communication, and a stronger sense of shared purpose. In this way, challenges become opportunities for learning and maturation rather than reasons for fragmentation.
A Transparant Financial Exchange
Community work is held in clearly defined process containers. A typical facilitated community day includes preparation, facilitation, and integration time, so that the work is grounded, coherent, and well held.
For in-person community processes, I work with the following contribution ranges:

€360 – €450
For grassroots initiatives, communities in Portugal, or groups with limited financial resources

€540 – €630
Standard contribution

€720 – €810
Solidarity rate — helps keep this work accessible to others

Longer processes (multi-session or multi-day trajectories) are shaped together and offered as a package, so that rhythm, expectations, and scope remain clear for everyone involved.

Online community sessions are offered in adapted process containers, with pricing adjusted to scope and duration.

For in-person work outside my local area, travel expenses are added separately.
